QN 1: When is the best time to see the Great Migration?
To witness the iconic river crossings, visit the Northern Serengeti from July to October. Some of the Tanzania Wild Camps and properties located in the Northern Serengeti area are: Serengeti Wildebeest Camp and Serengeti Wild Camp. If you prefer seeing the calving season (thousands of zebra and wildebeest babies), head to the Ndutu area between January and March. It is an excellent time to see predators.

Most of our camps are eco-friendly and powered by solar energy. You’ll have light and charging points in your room. While we encourage a “digital detox,” Wi-Fi is generally available in the main lounge and dining areas to share your best shots!

Stick to neutral colors (khaki, tan, olive) to blend in and avoid attracting insects. Pack light layers, as mornings are chilly but afternoons get hot. Don’t forget high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and a good pair of binoculars.
